Rules of participation

1. Only amateur brass bands and related instrumental formations (Big Band, so-called Dechovka, etc.) that have registered their participation on the application form can participate in the Festival. The participation of professional musicians engaged in the Festival itself is excluded. 
3. The deadline for sending application forms is March 29, 2024. 
4. The application form with attachments (photo of the band - minimum 1.5 Mb + recordings, link to the recordings or on CD/DVD of at least two songs performed by the band - not older than two years) should be sent by e-mail to the following e-mail address: : sklep@dk.kozy.pl. 
5. Bands may participate in the stage competition, orchestra drill and/or majorette competition, must participate in the orchestra parade and must participate in non-competitive outdoor concerts (bands may only declare their participation in non-competitive festival concerts). 
7. The Festival Artistic Council decides about qualifying the band to participate in the Festival, based on the application form and recordings. 
8. The list of bands qualified for the Festival (competitions and non-competitive outdoor concerts) will be announced on the Festival website by April 8, 2024, www.zlotatrabka.pl 
9. Each band entered into the competition is obliged to perform the Festival bugle call together by the combined orchestras. The sheet music will be sent by the organizers to the qualified bands by e-mail to the contact address indicated in the application form. 
10. In order to move efficiently to concerts, bands must have their own transport or transport rented by the organizers at the band's expense. 
11. The withdrawal of an orchestra qualified to participate in the Festival after April 15, 2024 (including failure to appear on the stage) will result in charging the person registering the orchestra with a lump-sum cost of PLN 1,000. 
12. The organizers are not responsible for illegal performance of music (copyright) and related legal actions. 
13. All materials (promotional photos, recordings, scores, texts) provided to the Festival Organizer by the person registering the Orchestra to participate in the Festival must be free from legal defects and must not violate the rights of third parties (e.g. the authors of texts, photos, audiovisual recordings have agreed to the publication , and the persons visible in the photos and recordings have consented to the publication of their images), and their submission is deemed to be a consent granted to the Organizer for the free use of these materials for the implementation of the festival and its subsequent editions (including the publication of information and promotional materials of the event on all currently known fields of exploitation). 

The organizers provide: 
1. Diploma of participation for each band taking part in the Festival, 
2. Lunch: 
    - June 8 (Saturday) for bands participating in the stage competition, 
    - June 9 (Sunday) for teams participating in the orchestra drill and majorette competition, 
4. Refreshments after outdoor concerts on June 8, 
5. Guardian of the band during the Festival. 

The organizers do not provide: 
1. Reimbursement of travel expenses. 
2. Covering the costs of accommodation and other meals.
