About the Festival

 The 20th International Brass Band Festival "Golden Trumpet" will take place on June 8-9, 2024. 
The festival is addressed to amateur orchestral groups and majorettes from all over Poland and beyond. 
However, the history of the event is longer - it dates back to 1997. It was then, that the Provincial Orchestra Review was organized for the first time. The following years brought the expansion of the scope and change of the name to the "GOLDEN TRUMPET" Brass Band Festival. 
From the beginning, the event has been held in the Bielsko county, initially only in Kozy, and now also in Bielsko-Biała, Jasienica and neighboring communes. In addition to Polish bands, orchestras from Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Ukraine also performed on the festival stages. 
The organizers want the event to help improve the skills of participating bands, bandmasters and conductors, but also to be an opportunity for artistic competition between groups from youth to seniors. 
Today, the Festival is not only an opportunity to confront orchestral groups, but also meetings, entertainment concerts, an opportunity to promote young musicians, spend time together, establish contacts and exchange experiences. 
“Golden Trumpet” - is a unique celebration of orchestral music in the charmingly located Bielsko-Biała and its surroundings, and the direct proximity of the mountains and numerous architectural monuments are worth seeing and exploring.
